Furniture Care Advice
Woven Furniture
Care & Maintenance Instructions Woven
The Bramblecrest Woven garden furniture retains the classic style and aesthetic qualities of natural wicker but is also impervious to the elements.
Made from extruded polyethylene, it is UV-resistant and not adversely effected by temperature variations. The framework is constructed from tubular aluminium, making it lightweight, strong and maintenance-free. The flexibility of the weave also creates a heightened level of comfort.
The woven furniture table top glass is toughened to ensure that it is difficult to break. The glass is also tempered so that if it is shattered then the remaining fragments are not sharp.
Cleaning
In a garden environment the atmosphere contains many impurities, which over time can create a layer of dirt on the furniture. Should such a build-up occur then a sponge or soft scrubbing brush can be used with lukewarm water to clean the surface
of the product.
To clean the table top glass we suggest the use of any proprietary* household glass or window cleaner. We recommend cleaning the product at least once a season.

Parasols & Bases
Care & Maintenance Instructions Parasols & Bases
Parasols
Bramblecrest parasol canopies are water resistant and made of ‘spun-poly’ material. We have a large range of parasols available in a variety of colours and sizes with a choice of either stainless steel or hard wood poles.
At the top of each parasol an air vent has been designed to allow wind to safely escape in gusty conditions. A rope pulley system is standard on the lighter models (2.3m, 2.5m, 2.7m), whilst a crank mechanism is favoured for the heavier parasols. (3m, 3.5m).
Care and Maintenance
It is important to keep parasols indoors or closed in the event of strong winds! We recommend taking the parasol indoors or covering with a Bramblecrest PVC cover when not in use to avoid colour fading.
Parasol canopies do not provide complete resistance from UV rays. Please ensure that adequate UV protection is worn in conjunction with the parasol shade.
To remove surface dirt from the parasol canopy warm water and a soft scrubbing brush or sponge should be sufficient. For more stubborn stains it is possible to machine wash the canopy at 30°C. After several machine washes it is likely that the canopy will become less water resistant. Ensure that the wet canopy is placed back on the parasol frame to dry in order to avoid shrinking.
Parasol Bases
Bramblecrest parasol bases are available in granite, galvanised steel, polystone and concrete . The parasol base weights range from 15-22 kg and are intended for use with tables. All bases come complete with a screw fastening mechanism to secure the parasol pole in windy conditions.
